About GPUX

A practical toolkit for understanding Android phones

GPUX was built around a straightforward idea: a phone should be easier to inspect without hiding uncertainty behind polished labels.

The app combines readable device information, guided hardware checks, local benchmarks, and everyday utilities. It is designed for owners, buyers, sellers, technicians, and anyone who wants a useful baseline before or after a repair.

Report what the device reports

GPUX reads Android system APIs and hardware capabilities available to the app. Model codes, camera counts, sensor lists, battery capacities, and cycle counts can vary by manufacturer and Android version. When a value is not available, GPUX says so.

Make checks understandable

Inspect turns common phone checks into a guided sequence. The person holding the phone remains the final judge of things such as visible screen defects, speaker clarity, button feel, and physical condition.

Keep control with the user

The current app has no account and no ads. Local results remain on the phone by default. Permissions are requested at the point of use, and sharing is an explicit Android action.

What is included

  • Device: system and hardware overview
  • Inspect: guided phone checks with pass, fail, skip, and unavailable outcomes
  • Bench: CPU, GPU, memory, and storage measurements
  • Lab: focused retests, monitor, compare, and export
  • Utils: compass, optional Qibla, level, speedometer, ruler, network speed, and sound meter

What GPUX does not claim

GPUX is not a forensic repair detector, battery certification tool, medical instrument, calibrated sound meter, or universal benchmark ranking. It cannot guarantee that a component is original or that a phone has never been opened. The most reliable assessment combines GPUX evidence with physical inspection, purchase records, warranty information, and a trusted technician when needed.
