GPUX is an Android toolkit for device information, guided phone inspection, on-device benchmarks, hardware retests, and practical utilities.

Most device information, inspection, benchmarks, compass, Qibla city presets, level, ruler, sound, and local reports work without an account or continuous connection. The optional network speed test needs internet when you start it.

No. Compass mode is the default and uses the phone's motion and magnetic sensors. Keep the phone away from strong magnetic interference and calibrate when Android suggests it.

Enable Qibla when you need it. You can allow approximate or precise location for a calculated direction, or choose a city preset without granting location. The result depends on sensor quality, location choice, device orientation, and local magnetic interference.

Sometimes. If Android or the manufacturer exposes design capacity, current full-charge capacity, or cycle count, GPUX shows those reported values. It derives a capacity percentage from full-charge capacity divided by design capacity. This is different from current charge and is not a laboratory certification. Some phones expose none of these values.

Android does not guarantee that every manufacturer exposes design capacity, full-charge capacity, or cycle count to ordinary apps. GPUX leaves unavailable values clearly marked instead of estimating them from unrelated readings.

It can help surface observable inconsistencies through system information and guided tests, but it cannot prove that a phone was opened, identify every replaced component, or certify that a part is original. Combine the report with physical inspection, repair records, warranty information, and a trusted technician.

No. Camera access is used for the flashlight and the system camera check; GPUX does not capture or save photos. Microphone checks show a live level while running and do not save or upload audio.

Permissions are requested at the point of use. Camera is needed for the torch or camera check, microphone for audio checks, location for Qibla or GPS speedometer, and notifications for the optional quiet monitor. You can deny any permission; the affected feature will explain what is unavailable.

They are measurements of the phone under its current conditions, not universal rankings. Temperature, battery level, power mode, Android version, background work, and storage state can affect results. Repeat tests under similar conditions for a fair comparison.

Not by itself in the background. Sharing happens only when you choose Share and select a destination in Android. The destination may store or process what you send under its own policy.
